oral reading fluency norms chartRecent research by Hasbrouck and Tindal (2017) shows that oral reading fluency (words correct per minute) in grades one through four has improved over the past eleven years.  These scores are performance benchmarks that show where a child should be performing.  This research was a measure of oral reading rate and accuracy, but did not include comprehension.
